About The Role

As a Consulting Growth Partner within Life Sciences Consulting, you will make an impact by driving growth, profitability, and client success across Cognizant’s Life Sciences vertical. You will lead business development, shape differentiated consulting offerings, manage senior client relationships, and support high-quality delivery across a portfolio of accounts.

You will be a valued member of the Life Sciences Consulting team and work collaboratively with account teams, delivery, technology, markets and industry consulting colleagues to help clients accelerate innovation, improve patient outcomes, and drive sustainable growth.

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand Cognizant’s footprint across the Life Sciences sector, including pharmaceutical, biotech and MedTech accounts.
  • Identify, qualify and pursue new consulting-led transformation opportunities, working closely with account teams on lead generation, proposal development, solution shaping and client negotiation.
  • Own portfolio performance across assigned accounts, with responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, client satisfaction, delivery quality, timelines and budgets.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite, VP and Director-level contacts, while aligning consulting offerings to client priorities.
  • Provide Life Sciences domain leadership by identifying market and technology trends, developing differentiated offerings and points of view, and representing Cognizant through thought leadership activity.
  • Mentor and develop consulting talent, supporting proposal qualification, costing and development while fostering a high-performance, growth-oriented consulting culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
