About The Role

As a Director, Consulting Growth Partner within Life Sciences Commercial, you will make an impact by driving growth, profitability, and client success across consulting engagements spanning Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial Operations.

You will originate and close new opportunities, expand existing accounts, and stay close to execution by shaping proposals, building delivery teams, and providing hands-on oversight where it matters.

You will be a valued member of the Life Sciences Consulting team and work collaboratively with account, delivery, technology, markets, and industry consulting colleagues.

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop and execute growth strategies that expand Cognizant’s Commercial consulting footprint across pharmaceutical, biotech, and MedTech accounts.
  • Originate, qualify, and close consulting-led opportunities across sales force effectiveness, omnichannel engagement, market access and pricing, launch excellence, and KOL/HCP engagement, from lead generation and solution shaping through proposal development and negotiation.
  • Own portfolio performance across assigned accounts, including revenue growth, profitability, client satisfaction, delivery quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite, VP, and Director-level client stakeholders, aligning differentiated consulting offerings to their commercial priorities.
  • Provide Commercial domain leadership by identifying market, data, technology, and AI trends, developing relevant points of view and offerings, supporting high-quality delivery, and mentoring consulting talent.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
