Job Description

The Director, Content Marketing & Discoverability

The Director, Content Marketing & Discoverability will lead Hilton EMEA's integrated Content Marketing & Discoverability function. The role is accountable for the governance, operational delivery, and continuous evolution of Hilton's multilingual content ecosystem across owned digital channels. Leading a multidisciplinary team of multilingual content, localisation, and discoverability specialists, the Director will ensure Hilton's content strategy delivers measurable impact through culturally relevant customer experiences, Search/Answer Engine Optimisation (SEO/AEO), and AI-driven discoverability.

As consumer discovery rapidly evolves through AI-powered search and large language models, the Director will lead the transition from a traditional content marketing model to an integrated Content Effectiveness function, where content quality, discoverability, and performance are managed as one connected capability.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Content Effectiveness

  • Define and deliver Hilton EMEA's multilingual content and discoverability plan across editorial, campaign, homepage, destination, and localisation content.
  • Establish governance, prioritisation frameworks, operating models, and content lifecycle management to ensure investment is focused on the highest-value customer and business opportunities.
  • Own regional content strategy, capability development, and future roadmap, ensuring alignment with changing consumer behaviour, AI-driven discovery, and Hilton's commercial priorities.

Content Performance, Discoverability & Optimisation

  • Use SEO, AI visibility, customer analytics, and content performance insights to prioritise investment, optimise content ecosystems to drive measurable business outcomes, and report back to the business.
  • Oversee the strategic direction of multilingual homepage, campaign, editorial, destination, and localisation programmes, ensuring consistent customer experiences across web, app, and digital channels.
  • Drive continuous optimisation through experimentation, AI measurement platforms, discoverability reporting, and evolving customer search behaviours.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
