Corporate Finance Director

£115,000 to £150,000 plus bonus

East Anglia can be a difficult place to make a serious senior Corporate Finance move. There are only so many seats, and too many mean swapping one Director title for another.

This one gives you somewhere to go.

A platform you can build from

This is an established regional practice with strong current workload, live mandates and an experienced team already delivering and ready for you to lead. This is an immediate need for senior capacity within an established Norwich business, not a speculative regional build.

The work already spans business sales, acquisitions, private equity investment, management buyouts and employee ownership. Behind it sits one of the UK’s most active lower mid-market Corporate Finance platforms, bringing buyer and investor access, national sector expertise and opportunities from across Corporate Finance, Debt Advisory, Financial Advisory and Restructuring.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

That means you can build your own position in East Anglia without giving up the reach, deal quality or specialist support of a national firm.

What you'll be doing

You’ll lead transactions from origination through to completion, help develop the existing team and deepen relationships with business owners, investors, funders and professional advisers across Norfolk and East Anglia.

Who it suits

You’ll probably already be operating at Director or Senior Director level within Corporate Finance, M&A or Lead Advisory. You’ll bring strong lower mid-market execution experience and evidence that you can originate work or turn relationships into opportunities.

For the right person, this offers more than another Director role. There is room to become a senior figure in the regional business and a credible route to Partner.

Your next move should change your position in the market, not just the name on your business card. Get in touch for a confidential conversation.
