Corporate Finance Director/Senior Director

£90k to £125k base + strong bonus/upside + clear route to Partner

Most routes to Partner ask you to wait your turn.

This one asks you to build something.

This is a chance to take the lead in Manchester, shape the regional strategy and build your case for Partner through your own results, not somebody else’s timetable.

You’ll help shape and lead a new presence across the North West, with the backing, resource and credibility of an established lower mid-market Corporate Finance platform.

You will have:

  • Real influence over the Manchester strategy
  • Support from an established Midlands Corporate Finance team
  • Junior and execution resource from day one
  • Average deal values around £20m
  • A strong national and international proposition
  • Meaningful performance-related upside
  • A clear route into Partner and potential equity participation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is not a title attached to an empty office and an unrealistic first year target.

The firm understands that relationships, mandates and completed deals take time. You won’t be expected to arrive with a mature Partner book or manufacture revenue overnight.

What matters is that you can lead credible transactions, build senior relationships across Manchester and the North West, and see the opportunity to put your name on a regional Corporate Finance business.
