Director - Corporate Recovery – Valuation
London
£85k - £95k base, car allowance and commission
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Director to join their senior leadership team. Working closely alongside the Managing Director, this is a rare opportunity to play a key role in shaping the growth, performance, and strategic direction of a highly respected property consultancy.
My client demonstrates a highly entrepreneurial approach, consistently seeking opportunities for growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. They place a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional client service, building lasting relationships, and contributing positively to the ongoing development and success of the company.
This position requires a well-connected property professional with an established industry network and a proven track record in valuation, client relationship management, and business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, developing long-term client relationships, mentoring and leading teams, and helping to deliver the company's long-term vision and shareholder value objectives.

The Opportunity
As Director, you will:
- Act as a key ambassador for the business, enhancing and protecting its market reputation through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Drive organic growth by strengthening existing client relationships and generating new business opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, coach and develop future employees, creating a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Provide strategic advice on complex commercial property matters and deliver innovative solutions for clients.
- Foster a positive, solutions-focused approach across the organisation.
- Ensure robust operational management, governance, reporting and business processes.
- Oversee effective use of internal systems, workflow management and job costing procedures.
- Manage work-in-progress, invoicing and financial reporting to support business performance.
- Undertake detailed due diligence on distressed commercial property assets, providing restructuring, recovery and value enhancement recommendations for clients.

About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status.
- Degree-level education.
- A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification valuation experience.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to mentor, motivate and develop teams.
- A proven track record of growing client relationships and contributing to business development within a professional services environment.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial property and valuation principles.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, marketing and business development skills.
- A proactive, ambitious and entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
