About the Role

Join Ipsos Healthcare's Custom Research team as a Director and play a pivotal role in helping pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device clients make critical decisions across the product lifecycle. Working with some of the world's leading healthcare organisations, you'll combine strategic thinking, commercial leadership and research expertise to deliver meaningful impact for clients and patients alike.

As a Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and growing key client relationships
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to expand our partnerships
  • Overseeing the delivery of high-quality bespoke healthcare research programs, from proposal development through to insight generation and strategic recommendations

You will be instrumental in driving business growth, developing innovative solutions to complex client challenges, contributing to thought leadership initiatives, and building capability across the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare research professional who enjoys combining commercial success, client leadership and people development within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

About You

Essential Skills

  • Extensive experience in primary market research, with a strong focus on Healthcare Research. Degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert in developing, maintaining and growing client relationships through consultation, partnership and insight
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of the principles of quantitative and/or qualitative ad-hoc research techniques
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of research methodologies and analytical techniques.
  • A strong track record of successfully leading studies across the product lifecycle; several years focused on pharmaceutical brands.
  • Proficiency in AI use and adoption, such as using generative AI, to enhance day-to-day tasks.
  • Experience in global or cross-regional market research projects.
  • Enjoying the challenge of breaking down complex topics and briefs, turning it into engaging studies with impactful results
  • Interest in working across a range of clients and diseases.
  • Evidence of ‘new way’ thinking (embracing and applying new methodologies applied to clients’ issues

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with more innovative methods, for example, social intelligence analytics.
  • Familiarity with digital data collection methods and online analytics tools.
