Job Title: Director, Data Management
Location: Remote (UK)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
We're partnering with an innovative biotechnology organisation to appoint an experienced Director, Data Management to provide strategic leadership and Subject Matter Expert oversight across key clinical development programmes.
This is a high-impact leadership position for an experienced Clinical Data Management professional who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional attention to detail and proven experience managing CRO partnerships.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality data management deliverables, maintaining vendor accountability, supporting regulatory submissions, and leading inspection readiness activities ahead of significant development milestones.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide strategic leadership and Subject Matter Expert oversight across Clinical Data Management activities
- Review study documentation, plans, deliverables, and processes to ensure quality and compliance
- Identify risks, gaps, and process improvements proactively across ongoing programmes
- Manage CRO performance, ensuring accountability for timelines, quality standards, and deliverables
- Oversee database build activities in partnership with external vendors
- Lead inspection readiness planning, preparation, and execution activities
- Support regulatory submissions and health authority interactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical teams

What we're looking for:
- Extensive Clinical Data Management experience within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments
- Previous Director-level or equivalent leadership experience
- Strong Subject Matter Expertise in Clinical Data Management
- Significant experience overseeing and managing CRO partnerships
- Experience supporting regulatory submissions and inspection readiness activities
- Proven ability to identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and drive high-quality outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong understanding of clinical development processes and regulatory requirements
