Director, Demand Planning, International

As a Director Demand Planning International at e.l.f. Beauty, you will lead the strategic forecasting and demand management for our global beauty product portfolio, ensuring optimal inventory levels and supply chain efficiency. Your expertise will drive informed decision-making, aligning with market trends and consumer insights to meet international sales targets. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and implement demand planning processes that enhance operational agility and customer satisfaction, while maintaining a strong focus on cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of international demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and meet sales forecasts for elf's diverse range of beauty products
  • Leading the IBP process, including agenda setting, decision facilitation, and ensuring follow-through on actions
  • Responsible for setting and maintaining the monthly IBP calendar, including deadlines for pre-read materials and pre-IBP account meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment on demand forecasts at the category level.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics that impact demand for elf's cosmetics, skincare, and haircare products
  • Develop and maintain a robust demand planning process, including the use of advanced analytics and forecasting tools to improve accuracy and responsiveness
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on international market opportunities and risks related to demand planning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all demand planning activities across international markets
  • Lead the team in the creation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts, and present these forecasts to key stakeholders
  • Implement and manage demand planning systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in demand forecasting and inventory management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or supply chain operations; (beauty, CPG industry preferred)
  • Operations experience in a food, CPG, or cosmetics manufacturing company of relevant size and complexity; >$50 million revenue, high-SKU, national distribution, and rapidly changing product line / SKU mix.
  • Cross-functional IBP modeling and process leadership experience; inclusive of demand planning, supply planning, and product lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, and leading cross-functional business processes from a starting point of limited maturity and sophistication; experience managing cross-functional teams. Nimble and entrepreneurial in nature.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex information and present effectively to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (modeling, pivot tables, scenario analysis, advanced formulas; macros a plus).
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, forecasting platforms, or planning tools, with confidence navigating and synthesizing large data sets.
  • Experience with SQL and Python - nice to have

Salary

£0 - £0 a year

The base salary range for this role is listed above. Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.’s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides a variety of other benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender-neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The amount of total compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
