Shape the Future of Leisure Real Estate Across Europe
At Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, we're transforming the way people travel, live and invest. As we continue to expand our presence across Europe, we're seeking an entrepreneurial and highly connected Director of Development - Leisure Real Estate to identify, originate and secure new growth opportunities across some of the region's most exciting and rapidly evolving real estate sectors.
This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in expanding Wyndham's footprint across branded residences, vacation rentals, serviced apartments, extended-stay products and emerging leisure real estate concepts, working with some of Europe's most influential developers, investors and owner groups.

What You'll Do
As a key member of the Strategic Development team, you will lead the sourcing, negotiation and execution of new development opportunities across Europe, managing projects from initial market engagement through contract signing and pre-opening handover.
Drive New Business Growth
- Develop and execute a targeted development strategy focused on leisure real estate opportunities across Europe.
- Identify and originate new projects in branded residences, vacation rentals, serviced apartments, extended-stay and mixed-use developments.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Identify emerging markets, destinations, investment trends and development partners.
- Generate opportunities through networking, market intelligence, conferences and industry relationships.
Build Strategic Relationships
- Establish trusted partnerships with developers, investors, family offices, private equity funds, institutional investors and strategic partners.
- Position Wyndham as a leading partner within the leisure real estate sector.
- Develop relationships with architects, consultants, brokers and advisors who influence investment and development decisions.
- Represent Wyndham at major hospitality, investment and real estate events across EMEA.

Structure and Close Deals
- Lead commercial negotiations for management, franchise, branded residence, licensing and strategic partnership agreements.
- Understand owners' and investors' objectives and develop compelling partnership solutions.
- Prepare investment cases, commercial proposals and executive presentations.
- Guide projects through internal approvals, contract execution and handover to operations.
Lead Cross-Functional Development Projects
- Coordinate internal stakeholders across Development, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Brand, Marketing and Architecture & Construction teams.
- Act as the primary bridge between Wyndham and external partners.
- Manage relationships through the entire development lifecycle, ensuring a seamless transition into opening and operations.
Influence Strategy
- Recommend priority markets, target partner profiles and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
- Monitor industry trends within branded residences, mixed-use developments and leisure real estate.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support long-term growth strategies.

What We're Looking For
Experience
- Significant experience within hospitality development, real estate development, investments or leisure real estate.
- Proven success originating and closing complex commercial transactions.
- Strong network of developers, investors, owners and industry stakeholders across EMEA.
- Deep understanding of hotel, resort and leisure real estate investment and development.
- Experience working with institutional investors, private equity firms, family offices and major developers.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including feasibility and investment analysis.
- Outstanding negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.
- Experience engaging with senior executives, owners and investors.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout EMEA.
