Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive market expansion, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships for the ThreadSpan product portfolio. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, engage enterprise customers, build strong partner ecosystems, and contribute to revenue growth through consultative selling and value-based customer engagement.

This role requires a blend of sales, market development, relationship management, and strategic thinking to accelerate ThreadSpan's market presence and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target industries and accounts.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Develop account penetration strategies for enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges and align ThreadSpan solutions accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and business value propositions.

Market Expansion

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging customer requirements.
  • Identify new industry verticals and geographic markets for ThreadSpan adoption.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and demand generation initiatives.

Customer & Partner Management

  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, technology partners, system integrators, and resellers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership arrangements.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and support account growth opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Technical teams to develop winning customer solutions.
  • Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and enhancement priorities.
  • Support marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and industry conferences.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and customer information in CRM systems.
  • Track and report business development KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Prepare business cases, proposals, and commercial presentations for leadership review.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Account Management, or Strategic Partnerships.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience selling SaaS, enterprise software, digital platforms, technology solutions, or related products.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple.
