The Role
As a Director, Digital Product Owner, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the technological direction of Carnival UK and our ships, ensuring we continue to deliver unforgettable holiday happiness. Your leadership will not only shape our commerce advancements but also inspire a team of technology professionals to excel in their roles.
Key accountabilities include:
- Own the integrated product vision and strategic roadmap across web and app channels for Cunard and P&O Cruises, balancing customer needs, commercial priorities, and brand objectives.
- Lead the Design & UX, Digital Self-Service, and Product Ownership functions, setting clear priorities and developing product management capability across the wider digital product community.
- Act as the senior business counterpart to DTO’s Technical Product Owners, aligning joint roadmaps, resolving dependencies, and escalating blockers that risk customer or commercial outcomes.
- Establish robust product governance, including backlog management, prioritization frameworks, and investment decision-making in partnership with the VP, E-Commerce.

Job Requirements
This role demands a blend of strategic vision and technical expertise. We're looking for someone with:
- 10+ years’ experience in digital product management or product ownership, including leadership of enterprise-wide digital transformation.
- Demonstrable experience defining and delivering product strategies for customer-facing digital commerce platforms.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional delivery across Technology, UX, Operations, Marketing, and Data using Agile methodologies.
- Strong commercial judgement, with experience owning product roadmaps, budgets, governance, stakeholder engagement, and investment prioritization.
