The Role

The Sales Director will oversee a Sales team with a focus on driving Enterprise new business across the UK. This role involves developing strategic relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership, new business sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage, coach, mentor and lead a team of Customer Account Reps, driving success across the region
  • New Client Acquisition: Manage the entire lifecycle of new clients/logos in to the UKG family of solutions
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Support your team in developing and implementing account strategies to drive growth and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and effective service delivery.
  • Problem Resolution: Address client issues and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to clients.

About You

  • Proven success over 10+ years in a Sales leadership role within a high growth, product/SaaS organisation, driving consistent YoY growth
  • Extensive experience leading teams and driving sales across the UK region
  • Strong focus on new business, driving customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Experience building and nurturing talent through demonstrable team performance metrics including quota attainment, sales operational excellence and technology adoption
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) tools and software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
