Director, Events & Live Experiences (Formula 1)

We're looking for an experienced Director, Events & Live Experiences to lead the delivery of world-class Formula 1 partnership programmes, hospitality experiences and live events for a major global client. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with deep Formula 1 expertise, exceptional client management skills and a proven track record delivering premium hospitality and experiential activations on a global scale.
The Role
As Director, you will lead the management of a multinational client's Formula 1 partnership, overseeing strategy, hospitality, guest programmes, ticketing and experiential activations across the F1 calendar. Working closely with senior client stakeholders, Formula 1 rights holders and internal teams, you'll ensure programmes deliver exceptional experiences and measurable business impact.
You'll lead a talented team responsible for creating and delivering best-in-class events, VIP hospitality programmes and brand experiences both at race weekends and beyond the track.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the senior day-to-day lead for a major Formula 1 client, building trusted relationships and providing strategic guidance.
- Managing relationships with Formula 1, race promoters, hospitality providers, suppliers and agency partners.
- Leading the planning and delivery of global hospitality programmes and guest experiences across the F1 calendar.
- Overseeing ticketing, guest management, travel, accommodation and executive-level hospitality programmes.
- Driving the production and delivery of premium experiential activations, hospitality environments and brand experiences.
- Providing leadership and direction to cross-functional delivery teams across multiple workstreams.
- Attending international Grand Prix events to oversee flawless on-site execution and problem-solving.
- Managing programme budgets, forecasting, financial reconciliation and supplier contracts.
- Developing client presentations, post-event reports and strategic recommendations.
- Supporting business growth through client retention, organic opportunities and new business pitches.
- Leading, mentoring and developing team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

What You'll Bring
- 8+ years' experience in events, hospitality, account management or experiential marketing, ideally within sports marketing or sponsorship agencies.
- Strong knowledge of the Formula 1 ecosystem and experience working with F1 partnerships.
- Proven experience delivering premium hospitality programmes and large-scale experiential activations.
- Expertise managing complex global guest programmes and significant event budgets.
- Outstanding client management skills, including experience working with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management, organisational and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Commercial awareness and experience identifying growth opportunities within client accounts.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment.

Additional Information
