Role Description
The Director role is a full-time, hybrid (3 days office) based in London, responsible for leading client relationships and overseeing integrated marketing and communications programs for financial services clients. The Director will develop and drive strategic communications plans, supervise account teams, and ensure high-quality delivery across content, media relations, branding, and digital campaigns. This role includes leading client meetings, advising senior stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts through new ideas and services. The Director will collaborate closely with creative, digital, and content specialists to produce impactful, measurable campaigns, while maintaining strong alignment with client business objectives. The position also involves mentoring team members, contributing to new business pitches, and helping shape Peregrine’s service offering and thought leadership in the market.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in leading integrated marketing and communications programs, ideally within financial services or professional services.
- Strong expertise in strategic communications, including campaign planning, positioning, message development, and brand storytelling.
- Demonstrated capability in media relations and stakeholder engagement, with a solid understanding of digital and traditional channels.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to delegate, coach, and provide constructive feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence senior client stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen, including experience in account growth, budgeting, forecasting, and successful participation in new business pitches.
- Strong project and time management skills, able to oversee multiple client programs and deliver to deadlines and quality standards.
- Comfort working in an international, fast-paced agency environment, collaborating across offices and disciplines.
- Experience in or familiarity with global financial markets, asset management, banking, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
