Director, Founder’s Office (Brand)
Location: Nine Elms, London - Full-time
As the Director, Founder’s Office, you will serve as the strategic and creative right-hand to the Founder. Your mission is to translate the Founder’s vision into a world-class brand identity and market-leading presence. You won’t just manage tasks; you will orchestrate Zapp’s narrative, ensuring that every strategic initiative reinforces our position as London’s rapid grocery convenience leader. This role requires a blend of high-level commercial acumen and a sharp "brand-first" lens to influence how Zapp lives and breathes in the wild.
Zapp is London’s leading premium convenience retail platform. Founded in 2020, we are disrupting the multi-trillion dollar market by merging best-in-class technology with a curated, luxury aesthetic. We partner with the world’s most iconic brands to deliver an exclusive range of products 24/7, delivered in minutes.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Visionary Brand Execution: Translate the Founder’s vision into enterprise-wide brand and marketing initiatives. Ensure the "Zapp Story" is consistently told across all touchpoints, from brand campaigns to partnership activations.
- Impactful Storytelling: Work with agencies to craft and manage compelling, narrative-driven assets across all formats. You are responsible for making our brand, position, and story resonate with our target audiences.
- Strategic Growth & Positioning: Partner with the Founder to identify "white space" opportunities. Lead the charge on high-impact marketing bets, premium brand collaborations, and innovative expansion strategies that elevate Zapp’s cultural capital.
- Cross-Functional Brand Alignment: Act as the connective tissue between the Founder, Marketing, Commercial, and Product teams. Ensure that operational decisions (like delivery speed) and commercial decisions (like product assortment) align with our premium brand promise.
- Special Projects & Moonshots: Own the delivery of the Founder’s most ambitious creative projects - whether it's a flagship pop-up, a high-profile brand takeover, or a new category launch. You move these from "napkin sketch" to flawless execution.
- Founder Enablement: Act as a creative sounding board and strategic filter for the Founder. You will protect the Founder’s time while ensuring their creative DNA is embedded in the company’s daily output.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
