Position Summary
The Director, Global Accounts leads highly complex strategic account programs and client initiatives, providing expert guidance on account strategy, relationship development, and revenue growth. This role is responsible for shaping and executing account plans, growth strategies, and value propositions for the most complex and high-value pharmaceutical distribution customers. The Director serves as a senior advisor to commercial and operational leaders, influencing account management strategy, client investment decisions, and retention approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead highly complex strategic account programs and client initiatives to drive long-term growth and customer success.
- Develop and execute account plans, growth strategies, and differentiated value propositions for high-value pharmaceutical distribution customers.
- Influence senior commercial and operational leaders on account strategy, client investment priorities, and customer retention approaches.
- Deliver high-stakes account reviews, executive business reviews, and client engagement programs with limited oversight.
- Build and implement reusable account planning tools, client engagement frameworks, and best practices to scale account management capabilities across the organization.
- Mentor account managers and contribute to communities of practice to strengthen account management expertise across the function.
- Foster strong executive-level client relationships and identify opportunities to expand strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, operational, and support teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and client commitments.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in account management, strategic account management, client relationship management, or a related field.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certification in sales management, customer success, account management, client relationship management, or equivalent.
