Director, Global Partner Programs

Global Partner & Channel Team

We secure humans, data and AI. Mimecast exists to make organisations more resilient by protecting how people work every day — keeping email, data, and collaboration safe from an increasingly complex threat landscape. As we scale globally, our reseller and channel partners are central to how we bring that protection to more customers, faster. This is a pivotal, highly visible role at the heart of that growth: you'll shape the programs, tools, and experiences that turn our partner ecosystem into a true force multiplier for the business, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to build something partners want to be part of.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive reseller partner program strategy that brings our Partner First approach to life
  • Design, build, and manage partner programs in close collaboration with the Partner Sales team to drive reseller engagement and revenue growth
  • Create partner program collateral, documentation, and onboarding tools that make the reseller experience simpler, clearer, and genuinely delightful
  • Partner with partner operations and IT to translate strategy into reporting, analytics, system workflows, and operational governance
  • Shape the Partner Enablement Certification & Badge Model, working across Partner Marketing, Services, Customer Success, and Sales Enablement to build training, product education, and enablement tools that stick
  • Lead the ongoing evolution of reseller experiences and program capabilities, always looking for smarter, more innovative ways of working
  • Communicate partner programs, strategies, events, and updates internally, bringing teams together and building alignment across the organisation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, and Finance to implement, optimise, and scale reseller programs in a way that's sustainable for the whole business
  • Engage directly with reseller partners through Partner Advisory Councils, surveys, and one-to-one outreach, listening closely and acting on what you hear
  • Build and lead a team that delivers, together, on partner programs, enablement, communications, and MDF/incentive management

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the self-motivation to solve problems independently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the presentation skills to bring people along with your thinking
  • A natural collaborator — someone who builds real relationships across internal teams and with external partners
  • The ability to conceptualise new ideas, articulate them clearly, and win buy-in from stakeholders at every level
  • Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills, with the discipline to keep several priorities moving at once
  • Experience leading cross-functional, high-performing teams, and driving consensus across them
  • Comfort working independently and managing collaboration across distributed, remote teams
  • Significant experience creating, launching, and running partner programs that deliver measurable business results
