Role Purpose
This role is responsible for driving new business growth for Moneycorp’s Global Payment Solutions offering by:
- Originating, structuring, and closing complex payment and transaction banking opportunities with corporate clients
- Operating as a senior sales lead, combining hands-on deal execution with mentorship and technical guidance for junior colleagues
- Supporting Moneycorp’s evolution from an FX-led proposition to a broader transaction banking and mass payments capability
- Ensuring deal quality, pace of execution, and strong internal collaboration

Role Responsibilities
- Originate and close new business opportunities with mid-to large-sized corporate clients, focusing on new client acquisition
- Translate commercial client needs into scalable payment and transaction banking solutions
- Lead complex deal structuring while maintaining high standards of quality, commerciality, and risk awareness
- Manage client relationships through implementation to deliver promised outcomes
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical support to junior sales colleagues as a player-coach
- Collaborate closely with implementation, compliance, legal, and operational teams for effective execution
- Contribute to the development of Moneycorp’s transaction banking, mass payments, and partnership strategy
- Represent Moneycorp globally with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in transaction banking, payments, or cash management sales
- Strong understanding of global payment flows and payment connectivity
- Track record of originating and closing new business opportunities
- Ability to design commercially sound, scalable solutions for complex client needs
- Experience working across international teams and multiple legal entities
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail, resilience, and tenacity for a quota-carrying role

Desirable Attributes
- Exposure to card issuing, acquiring, or payment partnerships
- Familiarity with trading or online payment platforms
- Proficiency in CRM systems and disciplined pipeline management
- Experience mentoring junior sales professionals
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
Languages
- English required (additional languages beneficial but not essential)
