Overview of Role
- Shape and execute enterprise, portfolio and growth strategy, translating corporate priorities into clear choices, roadmaps and value-creation plans.
- Advise executive leadership on market dynamics, competitive positioning, investment priorities and strategic trade-offs to inform enterprise decision-making.
- Lead corporate development and M&A initiatives, including target assessment, due diligence, valuation, transaction execution and post-deal integration.
- Develop rigorous market analyses, business cases and financial models, converting complex evidence into clear executive recommendations.
- Mobilise cross-functional teams to design and deliver complex, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from concept through execution.
- Establish governance, performance measures and risk disciplines to maintain accountability, track benefits and realise measurable value.
- Influence senior stakeholders and external partners, building alignment around critical decisions, investment cases and strategic outcomes.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, strengthening strategic capability, commercial discipline and execution across the organisation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline required; MBA preferred.
- At least 12 years’ experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, M&A or transformation, including senior leadership accountability.
- Proven leadership of enterprise, portfolio and growth strategy, together with M&A execution across assessment, diligence, valuation, transaction and integration.
- Prior strategy consulting or internal corporate strategy experience preferred.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including market assessment, business case development, valuation and financial modelling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver strategic, financial and operational outcomes.
- Applied AI expertise, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude, to strengthen analysis, productivity and decision-making.
- Experience in data architecture, technology strategy and product engineering, translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Executive-level communication, influence and judgement, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability.
