Your opportunity

  • Lead a team of UK-based Product Marketers across all asset classes, providing strategy and direction and ensuring consistency of approach and collaboration across the organization
  • Develop and execute product marketing strategy across priority product ranges, ensuring alignment with global product priorities, regional commercial objectives, and channel-specific client needs
  • Partner with Client Portfolio Managers to create compelling Product Stories for assigned product sets with a client-centric and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Create and oversee production of new product marketing content, working closely with business partners to incorporate feedback and produce high quality and effective marketing materials aligned with our global brand standards
  • Partner with channel marketing to create distribution strategy for product content including email, web, and print.
  • Seek opportunities to train Distribution teams on product marketing collateral suite to ensure alignment and successful execution
  • Research and understand competitors to enhance knowledge and incorporate industry best practices into our strategy and materials
  • Partner with web team to drive strategy for product content with the goal of enhancing the digital client experience
  • Innovate using LLM and other AI tools to create more efficient and effective marketing

Must have skills

  • Significant experience within the financial services industry or equivalent required. Institutional or intermediary experience preferred.
  • Investment Product Knowledge and Story Building expertise required.
  • Significant B2B marketing experience, including direct contact with sales force and in-depth knowledge of the sales process.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage, coach, and develop product marketers while setting clear priorities and maintaining accountability for high-quality execution.
  • Ability to concept, direct, and execute strategic projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong understanding of the intermediary and institutional sales process, including relationships of our client/prospect to end clients, various roles within sales force, and differing corporate/branch requirements.
  • Strong understanding of financial marketplace and distribution process, including in-depth knowledge of how products are priced, packaged, and positioned across varying channels.
  • Strong business acumen with thorough understanding of asset management business.
  • Knowledge of electronic distribution, collateral design, and collateral production process.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of and ability to interpret and chart financial data.
  • Thorough understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills, with comfort using marketing, workflow, and collaboration platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Institutional or intermediary experience preferred.
