The Opportunity

This is a high-profile leadership role at the heart of Transaction Banking technology across EMEA. You will act as the primary technology partner to senior business leaders, bringing both strategic perspective and delivery expertise.

You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering technology that underpins Trade Finance, Payments, and Core Banking, while building trusted relationships with stakeholders across regions and functions.

Scope of Role

  • Trade Finance platforms and channels
  • Cash Management and Payments Channel Technology
  • Core Banking (T24) for Saudi Arabia
  • Regional and global stakeholder partnerships
  • Service delivery, resilience, and governance across EMEA

Key Responsibilities

Executive Business Partnership

  • Act as the trusted advisor and primary technology contact for Transaction Banking leadership across EMEA
  • Build deep and strong relationships with senior business leaders, their teams, and global partners
  • Translate business strategy into actionable technology direction
  • Represent EMEA in global forums

Strategy & Technology Leadership

  • Shape and deliver cohesive technology strategy across trade, payment channels, and core banking
  • Lead platform roadmaps supporting growth and regulatory change
  • Balance innovation with operational stability
  • Support investment prioritization

Platform & Service Ownership

  • Trade Finance systems including T360, payment channels (e.g., Coconet), Core Banking (T24)
  • Ensure resilience, scalability, and regulatory alignment
  • Oversee upgrades and vendor management
  • Drive continuous service improvement

Payments & Connectivity Leadership

  • Lead EMEA Payments Channel Technology including SWIFT and host-to-host connectivity
  • Ensure readiness for regulatory changes including PSR and Instant
  • Guide payments architecture strategy, leveraging AI and DX as appropriate

Delivery Excellence & Governance

  • Ensure high-quality service delivery across platforms
  • Maintain governance across risk and regulatory frameworks
  • Drive resilience and operational excellence
  • Address technical risk and legacy systems

Skills, Experience & Leadership Profile

What You Bring

  • Ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Transaction Banking, Payments, and Trade Finance SME – deep and evidenced business understanding
  • Expertise in T24, trade channels & systems (T360) and payments channel technologies
  • Strong and demonstrable understanding of AI and DX and how to apply the same
  • Track record in complex global environments
  • Strategic thinking with practical execution
