The Opportunity
We are looking to appoint a senior recruitment professional to lead an HR recruitment offering, working closely with some of the most exciting Private Equity-backed, Venture Capital-backed and high-growth businesses in the market.
This is an opportunity for an established HR recruitment specialist with strong commercial experience and senior client relationships to join an established group.
The role will have a particular focus on working with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies, alongside VC-backed and high-growth technology businesses.
You will benefit from access to an existing network of investors, portfolio companies, founders and senior executives across the wider group.
A key part of the opportunity is the ability to work directly within the Private Equity ecosystem.
Our client has established relationships with a range of PE investors and their portfolio companies, from some of the world's largest global funds through to leading mid-market investors. This creates a significant opportunity to build relationships with investors and subsequently support their portfolio companies with senior HR and People appointments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
