About Jumeirah Carlton Tower

Located in the heart of Knightsbridge, Jumeirah Carlton Tower is a landmark London address where heritage meets contemporary luxury. The hotel offers stunning views across the city, access to the private Cadogan Gardens, a variety of dining experiences, and a rooftop health club and spa with London’s largest naturally lit swimming pool.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director – Human Resources to join Jumeirah Carlton Tower.

  • Shape and deliver a forward-looking people strategy that supports Jumeirah Carlton Tower’s continued success as one of London’s most distinguished luxury hospitality addresses.
  • Lead the property HR function with vision and credibility, building capability, sharing best practice, and inspiring a high-performing culture across the hotel.
  • Partner closely with the Regional Director of HR and the General Manager to strengthen workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, productivity, and service standards in a commercially thoughtful way.
  • Champion colleague engagement, performance, and development, ensuring managers are empowered to coach, motivate, and unlock the potential of their teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, communications, policies, and colleague experiences, ensuring consistency with corporate direction and legislative requirements.
  • Play a key role in positioning Jumeirah as an employer of choice, promoting an inclusive, engaging, and growth-oriented environment where exceptional talent can thrive.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within luxury hospitality.
  • Proven ability to shape and execute HR strategy within a complex hotel environment, balancing colleague experience, operational priorities, and commercial performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capability, with the confidence to partner effectively with senior hotel leadership, regional HR, and corporate teams.
  • Sound knowledge of employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, HR policy implementation, and employment legislation, with a coaching style that inspires trust and engagement.
