About the Company

A global financial services organisation with more than 50 years of history is continuing to invest in its cyber resilience and digital trust capabilities.

The Identity Trust function sits within Cyber Resilience & Trust and has responsibility across workforce, customer, application, machine and emerging autonomous identities.

The Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and leading the organisation's enterprise Identity Trust strategy.

You'll have end-to-end ownership of how identity is used as a security control across the organisation, bringing together identity architecture, authentication, authorisation, governance, intelligence and threat detection.

The remit goes beyond traditional IAM. You'll work across Technology, Architecture, Engineering, Cyber Defence and the wider business to establish a consistent approach to identity and trust across the enterprise.

A key part of the role will be developing the organisation's approach to areas including:

  • Non-human and machine identities
  • AI agents and autonomous systems
  • Identity threat detection and response
  • Risk-based access and policy enforcement
  • Identity intelligence and security analytics

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join

This is an opportunity to shape identity at an enterprise level rather than simply run an existing IAM function.

You'll have the scope to define how identity, trust and security evolve across a major financial services environment, with particular focus on areas such as machine identity, AI agents and identity-led cyber defence.

The role combines strategic ownership with operational responsibility, giving you influence over both the direction of the function and the technology that supports it.
