About the role

Tax & Legal brings together specialists who use tax and legal knowledge and technology to help businesses respond to evolving local and global requirements. Its tax services include international tax, deal advisory tax, transfer pricing, business taxes, people taxes and indirect taxes, giving you access to a broad multidisciplinary network.

KPMG’s UK Indirect Tax practice advises organisations on value added tax, customs duty and environmental taxes across a wide range of sectors. The national practice has approximately 200 professionals across the UK, and this role sits within the Large Corporates team, which supports FTSE 250 clients, sector priorities and international corridors.

As a Director focused on Energy and Natural Resources, you will help accelerate growth by developing senior client relationships, creating and converting opportunities, and bringing together the right expertise for complex client needs. Your focus will include deal-related opportunities, priority Energy and Natural Resources accounts, the Middle East Corridor and commodity trading opportunities across the UK–Switzerland Corridor.

Roles and responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
