Senior Manager / Director - Information Systems & Technology
The Organisation
Cobalt is partnering with a major global real estate investment and asset management organisation with a strong UK presence to appoint a Senior Manager / IT Director to its London operation.
This is a senior technology leadership opportunity with a broad remit across enterprise applications, end-user operations, infrastructure, and the implementation of AI. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape how technology services are delivered while leading several critical IT functions.
The Role And Responsibilities
As Senior IT Manager / IT Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across application services, end-user support, and London-based corporate IT network and systems resources.
The role combines technology leadership with oversight of service delivery, projects, and infrastructure. Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the team responsible for Entrata application services, covering availability, performance, upgrades, incidents, and vendor relationships.
- Leading end-user operations and ensuring IT issues are resolved effectively while improving the overall user experience.
- Identifying and overseeing opportunities for AI implementation that can improve technology services and business operations.
- Providing oversight of London-based network, server, storage, and security resources.
- Leading technology projects and coordinating teams and stakeholders through delivery.
- Establishing appropriate SLAs and KPIs and using these to drive continuous improvement.
- Working with business stakeholders to ensure technology capabilities support operational requirements.
- Supporting IT governance, cybersecurity, audits, and risk assessments while acting as a senior escalation point for technology issues.

The Skills Needed And Requirements
We are looking for a senior technology leader who can operate across multiple IT disciplines rather than focusing on a single technical specialism.
You Should Bring
- Senior leadership experience within IT operations, with the ability to manage multiple teams and technology functions.
- Strong working knowledge of end-user operations and enterprise IT service delivery.
- Strong working knowledge of network management, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
- Experience overseeing technology projects and coordinating delivery across different teams and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of AI implementation and how AI can be applied effectively within an organisation.
- Experience managing enterprise applications and associated vendors.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience with Entrata or a comparable property management platform would be beneficial, as would an ITIL qualification or equivalent service management credentials. Exposure to global IT operations and managing teams across different locations would also be advantageous.
