The Opportunity
A major US global investment bank is seeking an experienced Director to join its Infrastructure Finance team in London. The successful candidate will originate, structure and execute complex infrastructure and energy financings while developing senior relationships with sponsors, corporates and institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and execute infrastructure financings across the UK and Europe.
- Lead the structuring, negotiation and delivery of complex financing transactions from initial assessment through to financial close.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with infrastructure funds, private equity sponsors, institutional investors, corporates and public-sector clients.
- Identify emerging opportunities across established and developing infrastructure subsectors.
- Manage transaction teams and mentor Vice Presidents, Associates and Analysts.

Candidate Profile
- 10-15 years’ experience in infrastructure finance, project finance, structured finance or infrastructure private credit.
- Experience gained within a leading investment bank, international commercial bank, infrastructure debt fund, institutional investor or established advisory platform would be highly relevant.
- A strong track record of originating, structuring and executing complex infrastructure financing transactions.
- Established relationships across the infrastructure market, particularly with financial sponsors, infrastructure funds and corporate clients.
- A strong understanding of the commercial, contractual and regulatory frameworks applicable to infrastructure assets.
- Proven ability to lead transactions, internal stakeholders and junior teams.
