About the Company

A leading international investment bank is looking to strengthen its Institutional Equities platform in London with the addition of an experienced equity sales professional.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have an established track record covering institutional investors and, importantly, strong existing relationships within the equities market. This is a client-facing opportunity for someone who can deepen existing relationships while developing new institutional business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with institutional equity clients across the UK and Europe.
  • Provide high-touch equity coverage to hedge funds, asset managers, long-only institutions, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and other sophisticated investors.
  • Generate revenue through existing relationships while identifying opportunities to broaden the client base.
  • Deliver relevant equity ideas, research, market intelligence, and trading opportunities to clients.
  • Work closely with Sales Trading, Trading, Research, ECM, Prime Brokerage, and other Global Markets teams.
  • Develop cross-product opportunities across the wider equities platform.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client strategies, trading activity, and investment priorities.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the bank's Institutional Equities franchise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
