The Opportunity
Certus Recruitment is partnering with an ambitious and growing digital asset and financial technology business to appoint a Director, Institutional Execution.
The business is building institutional-grade infrastructure across the crypto and digital asset markets, supporting sophisticated clients across both on-chain and off-chain markets.
This is a senior commercial role focused on developing institutional relationships and expanding the business across the evolving digital asset ecosystem. You’ll work with institutional investors, trading firms, liquidity providers, and other professional market participants, helping them access sophisticated crypto markets and infrastructure.
We’re looking for an experienced institutional markets professional who understands crypto, liquidity, and market structure, and who can combine strong institutional relationships with the commercial ability to identify, develop, and win new opportunities.
The Role
- Develop and grow relationships with institutional investors, trading firms, and market participants
- Identify and win new business across crypto and digital asset markets
- Build relationships with liquidity providers, exchanges, and other ecosystem participants
- Identify opportunities across both on-chain and off-chain markets
- Understand institutional requirements and translate them into commercial opportunities
- Work closely with Product, Technology, Trading, and Operations teams
- Help shape the institutional proposition and go-to-market strategy
- Monitor developments across digital assets, liquidity, market structure, and technology
- Represent the business with senior institutional stakeholders
- Drive revenue growth through new relationships and existing client expansion

What We're Looking For
- Significant experience within institutional markets, trading, capital markets, or digital assets
- Strong understanding of crypto markets and on-chain/off-chain infrastructure
- Established network of institutional clients and market participants
- Strong understanding of liquidity and institutional trading requirements
- Proven track record of developing commercial relationships and winning new business
- Strong knowledge of the institutional digital asset landscape
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven with the credibility to engage senior decision-makers
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, technology-led environment
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
