About the Team
Our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice enables clients to achieve operational and financial excellence through advanced planning, forecasting, and profitability solutions. We partner with financial services and private markets clients to design and implement solutions that enhance financial decision-making through technology-driven transformation.
Role Overview
As an Integrated Reporting Director, you will be a senior leader responsible for helping grow and shape Alpha's Workiva and Integrated Reporting practice in North America. The role is primarily focused on business development, market development, executive client relationships, and practice leadership. You will be expected to originate and develop opportunities, lead strategic pursuits, strengthen our relationship with Workiva, and expand Alpha's position in the integrated reporting market.
You will also have responsibility for developing new offerings, building and mentoring the team, and providing executive oversight across key client engagements. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to grow the business, deepen strategic relationships, and build a differentiated and scalable reporting practice.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth of the Workiva & Integrated Reporting practice through new business development, account expansion, and development of new market opportunities.
- Originate and own opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle, from initial relationship development and discovery through solutioning, proposal development, commercials, and close.
- Build trusted relationships with CFOs, Controllers, Heads of Reporting, Finance Transformation leaders, and other senior executives.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across Workiva and broader integrated reporting transformation.
- Serve as a senior leader within Alpha's relationship with Workiva, developing strong relationships with Workiva sales and leadership teams and driving joint opportunities.
- Expand existing client relationships by identifying additional reporting, finance transformation, and technology opportunities.
- Shape and commercialize offerings across SEC and external reporting, multi-entity reporting, fund and investor reporting, management reporting, and reporting transformation.
- Provide executive sponsorship and oversight for strategic client engagements, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Develop market-facing thought leadership, case studies, sales collateral, demonstrations, and other assets that strengthen Alpha's position in the market.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop consulting talent while building the capabilities and leadership required to scale the practice.
- Collaborate across Alpha's broader Finance, EPM, Data, and Technology capabilities to bring integrated solutions to clients.
- Contribute to the overall strategy, commercial performance, and continued evolution of the North American practice.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of consulting or relevant industry experience, with significant experience in financial services, financial reporting, finance transformation, or enterprise technology.
- Demonstrated track record of business development and revenue generation, including originating opportunities and leading complex consulting sales cycles.
- Strong network and experience developing relationships with senior Finance executives and decision-makers.
- Experience with Workiva, financial reporting transformation, or adjacent finance technology and reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of reporting processes and transformation opportunities across areas such as SEC reporting, multi-entity reporting, fund and investor reporting, and management reporting.
- Demonstrated experience building and expanding strategic client relationships.
- Experience developing new consulting offerings, go-to-market strategies, and market propositions.
- Ability to provide senior oversight across complex consulting engagements while empowering delivery teams to manage day-to-day execution.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing scopes, proposals, pricing, and commercial structures.
- Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing consulting teams.
- Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Experience
- Established relationships within the Workiva ecosystem and/or financial services marketplace.
- Previous Workiva consulting, implementation, solution consulting, or business development experience.
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or leading consulting organization.
- Experience within asset management, private equity, private credit, real estate, banking, or insurance.
- CPA, CMA, or other relevant finance or accounting qualification.

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $180,000 – $250,000 USD for US-based hires and $225,000 – $270,000 CAD for Toronto-based hires, subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
