Director/Senior Director International Business Analytics

Reporting to the Vice President, International, the Director/Senior Director International Business Analytics will be accountable for market insight development, competitive intelligence, forecasting, analytics, and market assessments across International markets.
This role will be responsible for informing, challenging, and tracking international strategies and execution, across launch readiness, and in-market performance for two Phase 3 assets, providing critical insights and analytics to inform key decisions with significant financial, organizational, and multi-year business impact.
Operating as part of the International Leadership Team and partnering closely with cross-functional leaders, this role will engage across priority launch markets to create a launch platform for the successful commercialization of the Viridian portfolio.
A close partnership with US/Global Commercial Effectiveness & Planning (Market Research, Forecasting, Analytics, and Competitive Intelligence) will be critical. Within the International team structure, this role will develop key partnerships with International Commercial Operations & Marketing, International Medical Affairs, and International Market Access & Government Affairs to align strategy to drive differentiation and adoption in priority markets. This is a foundational role with significant responsibility for shaping Viridian’s international capabilities from launch planning through commercialization and lifecycle management. This position will be based in the UK.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to inform regional strategies and country-specific plans. Provide actionable insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Linking with US/Global forecasting, implement comprehensive forecasting models for current and future product lines, ensuring accurate revenue/market projections.
- Lead the execution of primary and secondary research to glean key stakeholder insights related to attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors across the Viridian portfolio.
- Present complex market insights and forecast data to leadership and stakeholders in a clear manner, ensuring effective communication across the organization.
- Identify opportunities, risks, and implications within the competitive landscape with a focus on forward-looking competitor events, competitor activities, and major congresses, providing strategic recommendations to maintain our competitive edge.
- Inform development of target product profiles and forecasts to inform International projections for the future pipeline.
- Build an internal operating model to support harnessing CRM insights, analytics delivery, and data management.
- Generate insights into the effectiveness of commercial strategies and recommend strategic and tactical shifts to optimize the impact of commercial investments.
- Identify opportunities to adopt innovation, new tools, and technologies to gain insights, differentiate, and retain a competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand internal customer needs and align forecasting, analytics, CI, and market insight plans with overall business strategies.
Collaboration & Governance
- Partner closely with US/Global Commercial Effectiveness & Planning (Market Research, Analytics, Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence), International Commercial, International Medical Affairs, International Market Access, etc.
- Establish planning and tracking to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of launch milestones within budget and ‘on strategy’.
- Provide regular updates to the VP, Head of International on strategy, risks, and progress.

Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years commercial biotech/pharma experience, with a track record of career progression with deep SME in commercial effectiveness & planning.
- Proven track record of understanding, tracking, & challenging performance and launch thinking for specialty or rare disease products, ideally in ophthalmology or endocrinology in highly competitive, complex markets.
- Proven experience and success demonstrating strategic thinking, collaborative mindset, “can do” attitude, and demonstrating superior abilities for the tactical plan execution.
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas.
- Ability to collect, synthesize, and present data to leadership and across the organization.
- Outstanding planning, organizing, and management skills with an ability to excel in a dynamic, lean, scaling environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functionally and to interface seamlessly with other parts of the organization.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
- Proven mindset of proactive continuous improvement.
- Strong commitment to ethical standards.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required (approximately 20%).
- The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience.
