Job Description
YOUR MISSION
This strategic leader will take the helm of our international (EMEA/APAC) executive recruitment practice. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to senior executives, driving the successful identification, engagement, and acquisition of Director level+ leadership talent. In this high-impact role, you will oversee a high-performing team, as well as offer mentorship and support from your SME perspective, to support the learning journeys of others across the US-based executive team, Xbox/MSFT executive team, and wider International TA team. You will provide strategic direction for the growth and efficacy of the international executive practice, and partner/collaborate closely with the International Executive Practice Operations leader to ensure operational excellence across multiple concurrent executive search processes.
This role is tailored for a visionary leader who combines strategic insight, operational rigor, and a people-first approach to transforming the way we recruit, engage, and acquire leadership talent. The Executive Practice is considered a “jewel in the crown” of the TA organisation globally, hence this is a role for a leader who recognizes the business-critical and high-profile nature of it. They will uphold quality standards yet also bend to accommodate our “fast and fluid” value when required. They will practice acutely honed listening skills, read the room for verbal and non-verbal signals and practice “servant leadership” as partnerships are built, especially in sometimes “pressure cooker” high stakes environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
