Director, International Finance

Global Investment business

£130,000-140,000 plus bonus

A senior international finance leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting, reporting, controls, tax, treasury, and finance operations across EMEA and APAC. Partnering closely with senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes while supporting business growth and strategic initiatives.

  • Lead financial control, reporting, consolidations, and compliance across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Manage audits, statutory reporting, tax, and payroll oversight.
  • Partner with leadership on forecasting, commercial decision-making, and strategic projects.
  • Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and stronger internal controls.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing international finance team.

Ideal Background

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • 10+ years' experience in a Controller, Finance Director, or senior controllership position.
  • Strong international accounting, reporting, and compliance expertise.
  • Experience within complex, multinational organizations, ideally with US-headquartered reporting structures.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Private equity-backed or professional services experience beneficial.
