Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director to join our growing national Investigations, Integrity and Compliance (IIC) team, part of our wider Forensic and Risk Advisory practice. This is a senior leadership role for someone with strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for developing client relationships, winning work and supporting the continued growth of the business.
You will lead and deliver a broad range of investigations, integrity and compliance engagements, while helping shape the team's strategy, people development and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex financial and non-financial investigations, including fraud, misconduct and accounting irregularities.
- Advise clients on ethics, compliance, integrity and economic crime risk matters.
- Oversee forensic audits, fraud risk reviews, compliance assessments and related engagements.
- Direct forensic analysis, asset tracing, corporate intelligence and investigative research.
- Prepare and present reports and findings to clients, boards, legal advisers and regulators.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, solicitors, barristers and other professional advisers.
- Take responsibility for engagement quality, budgets, risk management and delivery.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through personal networks and internal referrals.
- Raise the profile of the team through networking, thought leadership and business development activity.
- Collaborate across Forensic, Valuations and wider service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead, mentor and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to the growth, strategy and financial performance of the national IIC practice.

What We Are Looking For
- An established Director, or Senior Manager/Associate Director ready to step into a Director role, within investigations, compliance or a related advisory field.
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification. Additional certifications such as CFE, ACAMS or ACFCS are advantageous.
- A proven track record of leading complex assignments and managing senior client relationships.
- Strong business development experience and the ability to generate and grow revenue opportunities.
- Excellent technical judgement, analytical skills and report-writing capabilities.
- Confidence engaging with boards, senior executives, regulators and legal professionals.
- A collaborative leadership style with experience developing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness, integrity and professional judgement.
- The right to work in the UK and flexibility to travel to client sites when required.
