£90,000 – £120,000 + £7,700 Car Allowance + 20% Bonus
Are you an experienced MRICS Monitoring Surveyor looking for a Director level opportunity where you can genuinely influence and grow a service line?
I’m recruiting on behalf of a large, independent property and construction consultancy with a strong UK presence and an established reputation advising investors, developers and institutional clients.
Due to continued growth and client demand, they are looking for a Director to help lead and further develop their Investment & Bank Monitoring offering. There is already an established client base and work to deliver. They now want someone with the technical credibility, commercial relationships and ambition to help take the service forward.
You’ll work across major property and construction projects including industrial and logistics, offices, Purpose Built Student Accommodation and Build to Rent.
The Role
This is a senior, hands on position combining technical monitoring delivery, client relationships, leadership and business development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
