Job Summary
As Director, IT Business Relationship Management, EMEA, you’ll be a strategic technology partner to the regional Commercial leadership team and the primary representative of the global IT organization within the region.
As a member of the Regional Commercial Leadership Team, you’ll participate in business strategy and operating discussions to ensure technology considerations are incorporated into business planning and that emerging business strategies are translated into future technology and capability requirements.
You’ll provide regional leadership with a holistic view of technology, helping leaders understand technology opportunities, constraints, investment considerations, risks, dependencies, and implications. Conversely, you’ll provide the global IT organization with a comprehensive understanding of regional strategy and priorities and ensure appropriate IT functions are engaged to address them.
You’ll be responsible for shaping and managing regional technology demand, aligning technology roadmaps and investment priorities with business strategy, facilitating investment decisions and business cases, monitoring delivery of significant regional priorities, and ensuring technology investments achieve intended business outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience
This position requires broad IT expertise, strong commercial and business acumen, executive presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence decisions and coordinate outcomes across business and technology organizations without direct authority.
- An extensive successful career of progressive Information Technology experience within large or mid-size global organizations.
- 8+ years of experience in senior Business Relationship Management, technology strategy, business technology leadership, enterprise applications, or comparable roles involving significant business and IT partnership.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic technology advisor to senior business leaders.
- Significant experience working across multiple IT disciplines and coordinating technology solutions that span organizational and technology boundaries.
- Demonstrated experience translating business strategy into technology roadmaps, capability requirements, demand, and investment priorities.
- Experience influencing significant technology investment decisions and managing competing business priorities within constrained investment and delivery environments.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise technologies, business transformation, and complex technology portfolios.
- Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders across global and matrixed organizations without direct authority.
- Commercial business experience or significant experience partnering with Commercial organizations is strongly preferred.
- Healthcare, life sciences, or medical device industry experience is preferred.
- CBRM, PMP, or relevant business and technology certifications are a plus.
