This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of strategically important trading technology while working directly with senior business and technology stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- Lead architectural design and implementation across the electronic trading stack
- Build high-performance, resilient Java solutions for order ingestion, routing, and execution
- Partner directly with FX trading and product teams
- Drive automated testing and test-driven development
- Research and implement performance optimization techniques
- Produce clear technical documentation and technology roadmaps

What you'll bring:
- Expert-level knowledge of Core Java
- Strong experience building order management or order-routing systems
- Electronic trading experience across FX, Rates, Equities, or Listed Derivatives
- Experience designing fault-tolerant transaction-processing architectures
- Strong understanding of multithreading and Java performance optimization
- Experience with low-latency or no-GC Java development would be advantageous
- Strong test-driven development and software engineering practices
