JOB TITLE: Large Corporate FX Director

LOCATION: London

HOURS: Full-time

What you’ll be doing:

Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) are looking for an experienced FX salesperson to join our Large Corporate FX Sales team.

You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients whose global footprint require a variety of risk management tools to support their day to day and more strategic risk management needs. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing franchise and help to shape future direction of a collaborative Corporate FX business.

This role covers a portfolio of large cap clients (turnover greater than £1bn) as well as helping to deliver FX income growth for our leading infrastructure and project business

Key Responsibilities

  • A key voice in helping to shape the future direction of the business, delivering strategic initiatives to help to drive income growth not only for your own portfolio but for the wider Corporate FX team
  • Working collaboratively across a wide stakeholder pool including GTS, Trading, Coverage, Credit and other product areas, helping to deliver not just your own product but also the bank
  • Help to support junior talent to ensure best practice across the business and build a foundation for the future
  • Support Liability gathering with a track record of cross-sell

What we’re looking for?

  • You’ll have significant experience in delivering sizeable execution mandates, with a strong focus on working collaboratively across multiple trading desks to deliver an optimal client outcome
  • Experience of XVA and Capital pricing methodologies and mitigants
  • Ability to support on the production of high-quality client presentations, trade ideas and transaction proposals
  • Experience of FX Options

This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to be complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks

(1) P is carrying out any of the activities in the table in SYSC 27.8.19R; and

(2) those activities will involve P dealing with:

(a) a person with or for whom those activities are carried out; or

(b) the property of any such person;

in a manner substantially connected with the carrying on of regulated activities by the firm.

If you manage certified colleagues this role will be identified as Manager of certification employees under SYSC 27.8.13R as defined in the FCA Handbook

(1) The function of managing or supervising a certification employee, directly or indirectly, is an FCA-specified significant-harm function.

(2) A function in (1) is not an FCA certification function for that firm if it is performed by an SMF manager of that firm.
