On behalf of a highly regarded commercial property firm, we are seeking an exceptional leader to take on a newly established role created as part of a substantial long-term investment in growth. This individual will be at the very top of their game, with an outstanding track record in lease advisory and wider property transactions. The role will be instrumental in defining strategy, leading expansion initiatives, and shaping the future direction of the business.
This is not a replacement appointment or a traditional departmental leadership role. The successful individual will be given the platform, investment, and senior-level support to build a market-leading Strategic Lease Management business. You will take ownership of the strategy, grow the retained client base, develop the service proposition, and recruit a high-performing team around you. The ambition is for Strategic Lease Management to become one of the consultancy’s principal business divisions.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, Managing Director, and Board, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a three-year growth strategy
- Winning and developing relationships with major corporate occupiers
- Growing a recurring, retained client base
- Providing strategic advice across complex occupational portfolios
- Identifying opportunities for portfolio optimisation and cost reduction
- Enhancing the firm’s existing Strategic Lease Management proposition
- Recruiting, leading, and developing a specialist team
- Creating new service lines and commercial revenue opportunities
- Establishing a recognised market profile through networking and thought leadership
- Building predictable, long-term recurring fee income

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
