Role Overview

The Account Director, List Services is responsible for the development and implementation of all direct mail acquisition list plans for assigned clients. RKD has a strong teaming culture, and the Account Director will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client new donor goals are achieved. The Account Director provides leadership communication across agency teams concerning acquisition planning, execution, merge purge, and analysis. This position is also responsible for Co-op modeling strategy, merge purge strategy, and preparation of list analysis reports for internal and/or client meetings. The Account Director should be comfortable managing multiple projects and ensure deliverables are on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully oversee the development and execution of assigned client budgets and detailed mail plans to optimize new donor goals and client expectations. Manage merge purge strategy and collaborate with internal data teams to execute merge purge and output files for each mailing.
  • Prepare results reporting and analysis for client meetings and collaborate with internal teams for ad hoc analysis as requested by client.
  • Maintain high-level day-to-day contact with external vendors and internal teams including list brokers, client partners, data, and analytics. Some client communication is also required for results reporting and status updates.
  • Ensure all job schedules and deliverables are on time and meeting client budget. (10%)
  • Add value to acquisition strategy by serving as a subject matter expert in internal and client planning and status meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years’ experience preferred in nonprofit list planning/brokerage or related industry experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Adobe Workfront preferred

Additional Information

Location: Remote. No travel required.

Pay Range: $115,000 - $125,000 annually.

The position level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the market location, experience, job skills, and qualifications of the candidate.
