About the Role

The Director of LV/Fiber Deployment leads the planning, execution, and operational handoff of low-voltage and fiber infrastructure deployments across data center, edge, and network facilities. This leader ensures deployments are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to defined quality and reliability standards.

The role owns the end-to-end deployment lifecycle: design coordination, vendor strategy, material readiness, field execution, commissioning support, documentation, and turnover to operations.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Lead regional or global deployment programs for structured cabling, fiber backbone, low-voltage systems, and related physical infrastructure.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of deployment managers, program managers, field engineers, and vendor partners.
  • Own deployment planning, schedules, resource models, budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with design, construction, network engineering, data center operations, supply chain, security, and commissioning teams to deliver production-ready infrastructure.
  • Establish standardized deployment playbooks, quality controls, acceptance criteria, and turnover processes.
  • Manage installation partners and vendors, including selection, performance management, capacity planning, safety, quality, and commercial accountability.
  • Drive deployment readiness by ensuring materials, labor, site access, permits, test equipment, and documentation are available ahead of execution.
  • Oversee fiber testing, labeling, documentation, as-built records, cable management, and remediation of quality issues.
  • Lead complex retrofits and live-site deployments while protecting customer availability, safety, and operational continuity.
  • Define and improve deployment KPIs, including on-time delivery, first-pass quality, cost per deployment, defect rates, safety performance, and time-to-service.
  • Identify deployment risks early, remove execution blockers, and lead escalation paths across internal and external stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
