Director / Managing Director – Rainharvesting Systems Ltd
Due to an upcoming retirement, Rainharvesting Systems Ltd is seeking an ambitious, commercially minded leader to guide the company through its next stage of development and growth.
As one of the UK’s longest-established rainwater harvesting specialists, we have decades of experience supplying high-quality, straightforward and reliable systems for commercial and domestic applications. Our reputation has been built on technical expertise, honest advice, dependable products and strong customer support.
We are looking for someone who can combine technical understanding, commercial ambition and a genuine commitment to sustainability and environmental improvement. The successful candidate will lead a small, experienced team, strengthen the company’s position within the industry and help develop Rainharvesting Systems into a larger, more modern and competitive business.

This opportunity may particularly suit someone currently working within a larger engineering, construction, water, environmental or commercial organisation who would welcome the freedom and responsibility of leading an established small company with significant growth potential.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- An engineering, technical or systems-based background
- A practical understanding of system design, application and problem-solving
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify new opportunities
- Experience of leadership, business development or operational management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A genuine commitment to sustainability and environmental improvement
- An interest in water efficiency, climate resilience and responsible resource use
- The ambition to modernise and grow an established specialist business
- The ability to preserve the company’s supportive and customer-focused ethos while introducing improved systems and processes

The Role Offers:
- A performance-related remuneration package together with the opportunity to acquire shares in the business.
- Although the initial salary may be more modest than that offered by a larger organisation, the position provides considerable long-term potential for someone capable of growing the company and building a meaningful ownership stake.
- The successful applicant will work alongside the current Director and Business Development Manager during the transition and will have the opportunity to shape the future direction of the company.
