Overview

We are seeking a Director, Marketing Analytics & Insights to join our Marketing Leadership Team and serve as the critical link between data, marketing performance, and executive decision-making.

This role is ideal for a strategic, analytically driven leader who goes beyond reporting to challenge assumptions, uncover opportunities, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations. You'll help shape business strategy by delivering meaningful insights that influence decisions across Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership.

As a people leader, you will oversee Marketing's analytics and insights function, including executive reporting, pipeline analysis, performance measurement, budgeting, and strategic planning. You will partner closely with Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, and Data & Analytics teams to ensure marketing investments are measurable, optimized, and aligned with business objectives.

We're looking for someone who embraces AI as a core part of modern analytics and decision-making. You leverage AI and emerging technologies to accelerate insight generation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance business outcomes while applying sound judgment and strategic thinking. Success in this role requires the ability to move seamlessly between executive-level storytelling and hands-on analysis. You are naturally curious, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and able to balance strategic leadership with operational execution.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Executive Insights & Strategic Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team, providing data-driven recommendations that inform strategic and investment decisions.
  • Develop and deliver executive dashboards, business reviews, and board-ready presentations that demonstrate marketing's contribution to pipeline, revenue, and growth.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to support business planning and prioritization.

Marketing Analytics & Insights

  • Own Marketing's reporting and analytics ecosystem, including Tableau dashboards, KPI governance, and Snowflake-based data models.
  • Define, standardize, and govern key marketing and pipeline metrics across the organization.
  • Establish measurement frameworks and success criteria for strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze funnel performance, pipeline contribution, channel effectiveness, attribution, and marketing ROI to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, scalability, and stakeholder confidence in performance data.
  • Proactively identify performance drivers and provide recommendations that improve marketing effectiveness and business outcomes.

Marketing Automation & Systems Ownership

  • Own Eloqua and the broader marketing automation platform, ensuring it operates as a reliable, scalable foundation for demand generation and analytics.
  • Oversee database management, including data hygiene, segmentation, and integration with Salesforce and other business systems.
  • Manage form and web entry processes, ensuring seamless lead capture and data flow into the marketing and sales funnel.
  • Own lead scoring models, continuously refining criteria to improve lead quality and sales handoff efficiency.
  • Lead attribution methodology and implementation within the marketing automation platform, ensuring accurate tracking of marketing's influence on pipeline and revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
