Working Arrangement:

Based in the London office, this role operates within a predominantly US-based marketing team. Day-to-day collaboration is largely virtual, with regular interaction across multiple time zones. The role supports the local EMEA sales team while requiring flexibility to accommodate international working hours when necessary.

Summary of the Position

This role leads the development and execution of international marketing strategies to drive content sales across EMEA and APAC, working in close partnership with sales leadership and global marketing teams. It is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of key content areas, including scripted series, alternative programming, library film and delivering integrated, territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand positioning and commercial performance. Acting as the primary marketing partner to international sales teams, the role supports clients, broadcasters and distribution partners through high-impact materials, presentations and market-facing initiatives.

In coordination with the global events team, this position also oversees Lionsgate’s presence at key industry events, managing end-to-end execution from concept through to on-site delivery. It ensures strong alignment between sales and marketing by overseeing the flow of information, coordinating show-level activity and responding to evolving business needs. In addition, the role encompasses localisation of marketing assets, management of marketing operations and partnerships, and international travel to support regional sales activity, while continuously driving process improvements to enhance brand presence and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and execute international marketing strategies that drive content sales across EMEA and APAC, in close collaboration with sales leadership and global marketing teams.
  • Lead the strategic direction for scripted series and alternative programming, developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives to enhance brand positioning and support global sales objectives.
  • Lead the creation of bespoke marketing collateral and sales materials, ensuring campaigns are tailored to territory-specific audiences and commercial objectives.
  • Partner with international sales teams as the primary marketing lead, providing strategic support to clients, broadcasters and distribution partners across multiple regions, including press release approvals, site visits and key client engagements.
  • Own the planning and delivery of Lionsgate's presence at local markets, conferences, screenings and industry events.
  • Direct all aspects of event execution, including concept development, production, vendor management, branding, logistics and on-site delivery in coordination with the global events team.
  • Lead alignment between sales and marketing functions, overseeing the flow of information across key priorities, deadlines and show-level activity, and proactively resolving evolving business needs to support commercial objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee the localisation of marketing assets by incorporating regional insights and market-specific content to maximise campaign impact.
  • Manage end-to-end marketing operations, including workflows, logistics, procurement, budgeting and vendor payments.
  • Travel internationally to support sales activity, presentations and events, acting as the on-the-ground marketing lead.
  • Drive continuous improvement across marketing processes, identifying new opportunities to enhance brand presence and support commercial growth.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to demonstrate significant experience of strategy, planning and managing of television marketing
  • Extremely positive outlook, a “can do” attitude, and able to stay calm under pressure
  • Creative thinker with big ideas and strategies
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to build cross-divisional and inter-company relationships
  • Works well in dynamic, changing and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to build project timelines and drive to key dates
  • Deep list of vendor, location, and event resource relationships
  • Highly organized, detailed and solution-oriented
  • Strong financial acumen for budgeting and cost tracking and reporting
  • A meaningful interest in the business of television is a must
  • Ability to constantly multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Previous experience with MIPTV, MIPCOM, BANFF and LA SCREENINGS a plus
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
  • A university degree is preferred or equivalent experience required
