Director, Marketing Operations & Brand

The Director, Marketing Operations & Brand builds and runs the operating engine behind the Calibre Scientific marketing function, owning brand strategy and campaign execution and overseeing the personnel and contractors across digital marketing, CRM/lead management, brand strategy, and production that bring campaigns to life. Reporting directly to the VP, Global Marketing & OEM, this role partners closely with Business Area Managers to ensure marketing execution serves each business area's strategic priorities, a hands-on leadership position reflecting the reality of a lean, PE-backed life science consumables business, where the right leader is as comfortable setting brand direction as refining a web page or managing a contractor relationship.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Governance

  • Own brand strategy, positioning, and visual identity across the portfolio.
  • Govern consistent brand usage across internal teams, Business Area Managers, and external vendors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
