Senior Occupancy Planner – JLL
About This Role
As an Occupancy Planner, you will serve as a strategic partner in optimizing our client's real estate portfolio through data-driven space planning and occupancy management. You'll act as a critical bridge between stakeholders, coordinating seamlessly across local teams, the client's Corporate Real Estate (CRE) group, and internal JLL functions to deliver intelligent workspace solutions.
Your focus will center on portfolio optimization and space maximization, leveraging both qualitative insights and quantitative analytics to balance supply with demand. Core responsibilities include maintaining space data integrity, leading the space audit program, and producing actionable portfolio intelligence.
- Location: Remote, EMEA
- Reporting Structure: Reports to EMEA Occupancy Planner leader
- Schedule Requirements: Flexibility required to accommodate APAC/EMEA/AMER time zones.
- Team Size: One team member, based in India
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Reporting
- Deliver monthly space utilization reports and maintain current space data across the portfolio
- Manage and validate site audit processes to ensure data accuracy
- Monitor utilization patterns and trends, providing insights that inform strategic decisions
- Maintain CAFM system accuracy including space allocations, neighborhood configurations, and employee assignments

- Gather and analyze space and adjacency requirements from stakeholders
- Develop space plans, block diagrams, and test-fit scenarios using AutoCAD
- Create and update stack plans reflecting current occupancy and future requirements
- Design and implement occupancy strategies with detailed migration sequencing plans
Stakeholder Coordination
- Facilitate communication between local teams, client CRE leadership, and JLL account management
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences
- Build productive relationships that enable smooth project execution
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
- 7-10 years of experience in corporate environments with a focus on strategic space or occupancy planning
- Bachelor's degree in Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Design, or related field
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations
- Working knowledge of CAFM/IWMS software platforms
- AutoCAD proficiency for test-fits and area calculations

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking to address data limitations and implement process improvements
- Ability to work effectively across time zones and with global teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Proactive, innovative mindset with adaptability to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to team success
- Strategic thinking capabilities with business acumen
- IWMS (FMS) experience
