AI Innovation Lab Lead

🌐 Global Consumer Brand 🌐

📍 London, Hybrid
💰 £150k
👉 1-year Fixed Term Contract, high chance of extension, or converting to perm

Omnis has been exclusively engaged by a globally recognised consumer brand to appoint an AI Innovation Lab Lead. This is a newly defined leadership role with responsibility for building an Artificial Intelligence Innovation Lab and shaping how AI transforms the organisation’s understanding of its customers.

Several high-potential POC's have already demonstrated early value. The opportunity now is to bring these initiatives together, determine where the business should invest and create a credible pathway from experimentation to enterprise-scale adoption.

The successful individual will lead a multidisciplinary team spanning agentic AI, data strategy, knowledge graphs and data infrastructure. They will work closely with senior executives, customer teams and technical leaders, translating complex technology into clear commercial choices and compelling cases for investment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
