Our client is a market leader and global powerhouse in B2B consultancy services, delivering critical legal and professional support services and innovative solutions that help businesses navigate complexity, stay compliant and drive growth.

The organisation is investing significantly in AI and is looking for an exceptional leader to define and drive its AI strategy, from vision and roadmap through to implementation, governance and scale. This is more than a technology leadership role — it's a once-in-a-career opportunity to define how AI reshapes the delivery, accessibility and scalability of professional expertise, unlocking new opportunities for client value, operational efficiency and commercial growth. Above all, you'll bring the ability to move AI beyond experimentation, translating it into tangible business and client impact.

Reporting into the senior leadership team, the Director of AI will:

  • Define and lead the organisation's enterprise AI strategy and roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI across client services, professional delivery, internal operations, knowledge bases and commercial development.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, from strategy and architecture through to production and optimisation.
  • Explore and deploy technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, Machine Learning, RAG, vector search and knowledge graphs.
  • Build and lead cross-functional AI capability, bringing together technical specialists and professional subject matter experts.
  • Establish robust AI governance, covering security, privacy, compliance, accuracy, explainability and responsible AI.
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate AI opportunities into measurable business and client outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
