Director AI & Data, Financial Services - Management Consultancy
A global consulting firm, consistently ranked among the UK's leading management consultancies by the Financial Times and Forbes, is expanding its Data & AI practice. After an exceptionally successful year, with its team of over 100 consultants fully utilised, they are now hiring the next phase of senior leadership, Director of AI & Data to drive further expansion and lead the architecture and delivery of Agentic AI solutions for leading banks, insurers and asset managers.
This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of Agentic AI in one of the most regulated and competitive sectors. You will be the architectural lead on complex Agentic AI solutions, taking them from design through to secure, scalable production, while acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite and board-level stakeholders.

The role combines hands-on delivery, at around 70% utilisation, with ownership of a sales and revenue target. You will grow the firm's Financial Services AI proposition, shape and win new work, and build and mentor a high-performing team.
Location: London, Hybrid
Salary: Up to £180,000 base + 20% bonus + Benefits
To be considered
- Significant experience leading large-scale AI, data or digital transformation programmes within banking, insurance, wealth, or asset management.
- Must have architecturally led the design and delivery of Agentic AI or LLM-based solutions, from design through to live deployment at scale.
- Proven track record of owning and delivering against a sales and revenue target, including proposition development, pursuit leadership, and account growth.
- Strong understanding of the financial services regulatory and risk landscape, including model risk, data governance, and operational resilience.
